Karmella Haynes:Information on this plantation was originally submited to me by an anonymous visitor...Owner: Billy Yeager, wife Ann Yeager, daughter Ruth Yeager Bamberg. The census records do not corroborate this information. The only slave-holding Yeager in Bibb Co. in 1860 is Abijah Yeager. There is a J.M. Yeager also listed as a slave holder in 1850.
