Claiborne Co., MS. The land was approximately at T12N-R3E section 23 & 25. The county highway maps at the MS Dept. of Transportation website show these land coordinates.

This plantation was north of Port Gibson on the Bayou Pierre. It was on the north bank of the Bayou Pierre on what is today the west side of highway 61.
